Association Reform | Board Accountability | Legal & Legislative Advocacy
There is Power in Numbers
The US Coalition for Association Reform (USCFAR) is committed to changing how associations are governed by shifting the balance of power to better safeguard and advance the rights of individual property owners.
We understand how frustrating it is when your board makes decisions that don’t represent you.
When enough homeowners stand together against bad practices in the association industry, we can fix the failures of government agencies that have let these problems go on for too long. We can stop unfair laws from being passed without property owners having a say. We can make sure property management companies, association lawyers, and insurance companies follow fair and honest practices.
Through advocacy, legal action, and pushing for changes in government and legislative reform, we can restore homeowner rights and bring fairness, honesty, and accountability back to communities across the country.
Join us in our fight to protect your property rights and bring about lasting change.
Growing Impact of Association Communities
Today, about 30% of Americans—approximately 75 million people—live in communities governed by HOAs and condo associations, and this number is steadily increasing. Two-thirds of new homes are being built with associations.
While these communities provide benefits like shared maintenance, they often come with a significant cost: the loss of individual and property rights for their members.
With board abuse becoming more common - and a complex, unsympathetic system that most homeowners can't navigate without legal assistance - USCFAR is committed to filling the gap and offering an affordable solution to reform the system.
Our goal is to bring together the millions of association members, who have had enough of board overreach, to advocate for meaningful, long-term changes that benefit property owners and the community as a whole.
We are accountable only to our members, and the changes we aim to achieve will prioritize homeowner needs and interests above all else.
